Space – Why bother? A Space Exploration Teacher Training Event

This Staff Development Day is for teachers of Science and Technology who want to know more about STEM school based activities from the UK Space Academy.

This workshop is designed to use the context of space exploration and climate change to help science teachers in the delivery of the curriculum.

  • It will allow you to update your technical knowledge, skill and understanding in physics, science and technology.
  • You will be given the opportunity to integrate new themes and methodologies into your existing lessons.
  • It should help you to bring meaningful STEM activities into the classroom.
  • It will also provide you with a range of resources (printed, digital, virtual) to take back to the classroom allowing ideas to be integrated immediately.
  • If you are interested in one, or all of these then this very special staff development day is just for you.
