Finding your Direction - Springboard for Ladies of 50+

Dear ‘Women of Devon’
An exciting new FREE course design to springboard women currently out of work into employment is being run in Exeter and Torbay.
Torquay: Mon 27th Feb, Wed 29th Feb, Fri 2nd March, Mon 5th March
Exeter: Mon 12th, Wed 14th, Fri 16, Mon 19 March
The course, designed for small groups of women 50 years and older, provides an opportunity to explore an exciting and varied range of local employment opportunities. The course includes:
- ‘City’ Walks to discuss changes in employment. Find out about emerging opportunities. Meet local employers and understand their work, how to get jobs with them and why they value mature workers. Employers keen to meet you include the Royal Clarence and the City Centre Manager.
- Hear and get some ‘top tips’ from some of Devon’s inspirational women. They have been through redundancy and unemployment and come out the other side. One has even become a Polar explorer!!
- Identify your transferable skills, the ones employers really want, and find out how to make sure those recruiting know you have them. You may be surprised at what you can offer and what employers actually want.
- Start each day with brunch, make new friends. We recognise everyone needs support and encouragement.
- Finish the course (four mornings) with a manicure and tips on how to dress for success.
There are only four places left, please contact Julia Newill to secure your place on this fun and interesting course.
Or call us on 01392 215501
If you have any issues with care responsibilities or travel cost then let us know we may be able to help.
Kind regards (and we look forward to meeting you!)
Deborah, Kathy, Gwen and Julia
