CRB Checks

In most cases where a student is working with a number of adults on 'block' work experience CRB checks are not required. In fact CRB checks are currently needed in less than 1% of work experience placements (Department for Children, Schools & Families; July 2008)

Circumstances where CRB checks are required are more applicable for placements over a longer period, working with a child with special needs or where the student would be working with mainly one adult.
